By Compass and Quran film screening

Join us for a special screening of the documentary By Compass and Quran: History of Australia’s Muslim cameleers. The film tells the story of Muslim cameleers in Australia from the 1840s to the 1930s. It is a tribute to their significant contribution to the navigation of Australia’s interior, and a testament to their determination and personal sacrifice.

Director, Kuranda Seyit, will be in conversation with Afghan cameleer descendant Butch Williamson after the screening.
